Question by Youngblood: How to I go about selling a comic strip character?

A few weeks ago my boyfriend drew an adult comic character. My mom said something about selling it to someone to publish it and maybe get him to draw more.

I live in Atl, Ga. How would I go about selling it?
What are the steps I'd have to take?
