A team of 9 students and faculty from the College of Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno flew a fish eye camera aboard a scientific weather balloon to an altitude of 107,000' (over 20 miles up), and recovered it using radio tracking equipment.
This image was taken just prior to balloon-burst, while at 107,000', before parachuting back down to the ground. It is one of thousands of images of Northern Nevada that were obtained.

Rather tasty and flaky fish with seasoned fries. This was piping hot and served with tartar sauce on the side. For what it's worth, I enjoy eating this sort of thing with my fingers, to get every bite.
